Week Two, Thing #4

Registration with Jen and Shirley is complete. Week two was done early, but I was afraid I wouldn't have time during the next week. Things get kind of crazy.

Thinking of classroom applications is what I need to do next. I could have assignments posted or contact information. Maybe a survey about a test. I don't know. I will have to think on it.

Week Two, Thing #3

Since I started at the end of week one, late Saturday night, and it is now in the wee hours of week two, I decided to do two weeks together. I have never made an avatar. Pasting into blogger took a little bit of work. I would like to learn more about html. I learn a little more every year, but a little every year doesn't add up to anything when things change so fast.

I have set up a blog before, but find that I don't spend enough regular time doing it, so it is often not current.

Week One, Thing #2

I want to be a life-long learner, but also realize that there are a lot of obstacles. Time is the big one. With four kids, a job, and a household to manage, there isn't a lot of extra time. But, if I don't continue learning, life, and technology, will pass me by. A lot of it already has.

In my contract with myself, I promised to spend at least 30 minutes each week on this course. Hopefully, I will allow myself more time and find myself spending more than that because I enjoy working on the computer.

Week One, Thing #1

I am happy to take this class. There are a lot of things on the internet now that I can do, or probably figure out, but there are a lot of things out there that have passed by me without my notice. I am hoping this class helps me catch up with some of those things. I am also hoping it will help me add some extras to my class, especially since I have use of a presenter station.
